About the Roles

We are recruiting across three grades:

  • Grade 2 –  For individuals currently enrolled and working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Grade 3 –  For individuals who hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Grade 4 –  For individuals who hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
  • Promoting children’s safety, wellbeing and inclusion
  • Assisting with daily routines, supervision and documentation
  • Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
  • Upholding regulatory standards and Council values in all aspects of care

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range:
    • Grade 2: $28.85 - $32.97 per hour
    • Grade 3: $32.97 - $35.70 per hour
    • Grade 4: $35.70 - $41.33 per hour
  • 12% superannuation

What We’re Looking For

You have:

  • A genuine interest in early childhood education and care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safety, inclusion and continuous improvement
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • NSW Child Protection Certificate
  • Australian residency or valid work visa

Depending on the grade, you also have:

  • Grade 2: Currently enrolled and working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Grade 3: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, with at least 12 months of relevant experience
  • Grade 4: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, with at least 2 years of relevant experience

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, photo editing software)
  • Current First Aid Certificate 
  • Class C, P1 or P2 Driver Licence
