Bogan Shire Council has a Care Co-ordinator position available within our Medical Centre. The role of the Care Co-ordinator is to provide professional day to day business support to the Medical Centre’s team, ensuring the efficient and effective function of the Bogan Shire Medical Centre’s services, organise appointments, promoting Medical Centre services, welcoming patients to the Medical Centre and providing courteous, efficient and timely customer service and exceptional standard of care to our patients.

This position contributes to Council’s long term strategic goal through providing professional and customer-focussed service to the patients, colleagues and other members of the community.

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

  • Possess high level verbal and written communication skills.

  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.

  • Be able to work cooperatively and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and work independently with minimal to no supervision.

  • Well-developed organisational skills and high attention to details.

  • Hold a Certificate III or above in Business Administration (Medical), Business Management, Administration or an associated business-related discipline, OR equivalent demonstrated administrative experience in the public or private sector over a period of at least 2 years.

  • Be an Australian Resident or equivalent or holder of a visa allowing permanent employment in Australia

  • Hold a Class C, P1 or P2 drivers licence

    Conditions

    The Administration Officer is a permanent, part-time position.

    Hours of work are 25 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm, depending on the Medical Centre’s operational needs further hours may be available by negotiation.

  • Remuneration at Grade 4 of Council’s salary system ($28.88 to $33.43 per hour).

  • 4 weeks Annual Leave (pro rata)

  • Access to Sick and Carer’s Leave.

  • 9.5% superannuation.

  • Access to salary sacrificed childcare at the Bogan Shire Early Learning Centre.
